The Brookwood Community in Brookshire, TX is a nationally recognized nonprofit that provides a nurturing residential, educational, and entrepreneurial environment for adults with disabilities—known as Citizens. Since 1985, Brookwood has created a place where purpose, dignity, and meaningful work are at the heart of everyday life.

The community features a thriving range of enterprises including horticulture, pottery, gift shops, and the award-winning Brookwood Café, all designed to give Citizens the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow. With a beautiful 485-acre campus, residential programs, day programs, and vocational training, Brookwood empowers adults with disabilities to live full, productive, and enriched lives.
