SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILIES: Guardianship & Alternatives to Guardianship

Attorney Boyd Handley and Brazos Bend Guardianship Services will present "Guardianship & Alternatives to Guardianship" at the University Branch Library. This presentation discusses the need for guardianship or one of the alternatives to guardianship at age 18 and the process involved. You'll learn about the different alternatives and the difference between full and partial guardianship plus how soon before the 18th birthday to get this process started. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions to Attorney Handley. Kirk Monroe from Brazos Bend Guardianship Services will discuss the Guardianship Financial Assistance Program and the eligibility guidelines.
